Loss of libido is a symptom on its own, but can also be caused by vaginal dryness, another symptom of menopause. Vaginal dryness leads to lack of lubrication in the vagina, which causes painful intercourse. This can lead to loss of libido.

Hot flashes

Hot flashes are one of the most frequently reported menopause symptoms. These are a hot sensation that leaves you red and blotchy. For some, hot flashes cause strong heart palpitations. Hot flashes can be embarrassing and leave the sufferer self-conscious and clammy.

Night sweats

Night sweats are a sign of menopause similar to hot flashes. They cause you to wake from your sleep feeling hot, flustered, and unhygienic. Those suffering from night sweats can be left feeling fatigued and stressed.
