  • Ginkgo biloba. Ginkgo leaves and seeds have been used for centuries in Chinese medicine to boost memory performance and treat Alzheimer's disease. However, if prepared incorrectly, this herbal menopause remedy can be toxic.

  • Herbal Remedies during Menopause

    Ginseng. Ginseng is among the most popular of the herbal menopause remedies. It enhances vitality and ostensibly lengthens lifespan if taken regularly. Ginseng increases levels of estrogen by substituting human hormones with phytoestrogens, botanical compounds with a chemical structure very similar to estrogen.

  • Red clover. Like ginseng and other herbal menopause remedies, red clover increases low levels of estrogen by supplying the body with phytoestrogens.

  • Herbal Remedies during Menopause

    Macafem. Unlike the other herbal menopause remedies listed above, Macafem is a hormone-regulating supplement, and it stabilizes and stimulates hormone production. Macafem is gaining a popular reputation thanks to its hormone-balancing capacity.
