Menopause is a common cause of osteoporosis and this is mainly due to low estrogen levels. Osteoporosis in menopause is a complicated and quite dangerous disorder if not looked after properly and doctors say almost all women carry it to a certain level in their lifetime.
What are osteoporosis and low estrogen levels?

Accelerated bone loss after menopause is a major cause of osteoporosis in women.

The first thing to consider is that prevention is easier than treatment and to do this you need to control the low estrogen levels and calcium levels in your body to aid healthy bones. This will stop the development of osteoporosis or maybe stop it from appearing even slightly.
A healthy diet is therefore important to make sure your body absorbs the right amount of nutrients to prevent low estrogen levels and osteoporosis and keep you feeling fresh. Balancing estrogen levels is probably the most effective way to handle osteoporosis and with this in mind a healthy diet and exercise program may not be enough.
