Premature Ovarian Failure - Symptoms of premature ovarian failure include, hot flashes, skipped periods, irregular periods, vaginal dryness, and decreased sex drive. With Premature Ovarian Failure, eggs are not produced and the menstruation cycle is disrupted or put on stop. Hormonal replacement therapy is a common treatment for the condition and infertility cannot be reversed.

High estrogen levels - Normally estrogen levels are high when the body is waiting for the egg to be fertilized. If the egg is not fertilized then the body releases the egg and estrogen levels drop. If the body fails to release the egg, high estrogen levels could result leading to hot flashes.

Menopause - In some rare cases, menopause has been known to happen in a womanīs twenties or thirties, usually induced by stress.
